Sandalwood, or santalum spicatum which is its scientific name, is dark (almost black) in its appearance. It hass a beautiful shift between black and brown which gives the wrist watch an exclusive and eye-catching look. The wood layer gives you a warm feeling to the skin, and will over time develop its own patina and luster. Sandalwood is strong and with low shrinkage percentage.

The heartwood has a dark brown color and appearance. Sapwood is brighter and creates a sharp contrast towards the heartwood.
